After two years of intensive product development and an extremely stringent testing schedule, Ameriflo is proud to announce it’s Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Listing of the first two (2) models in the 9050 Diesel Engine program that fully meets Tier 3 emission testing. ThisUL Listing covers the first two (2) Ameriflo Diesel engines from 105 through 154 horsepower. Speeds range from 2200 RPM down through 1460 RPM. An additional six (6) Diesel engines are going through final UL testing to have a total of eight (8) Diesel engines with UL Listings. Factory Mutual (FM) Approvals will continue after UL testing is completed.
The Ameriflo Diesel engine is the most diverse and efficient Diesel engine product line available today from North America. Ameriflo is the only North American Fire Pump manufacturer to have an in house Diesel engine program positioning itself to be the dominant Diesel engine Fire Pump manufacturer. The Diesel engine group has spent considerable time developing blocks with a horsepower range that is simply not available from the competition. Ameriflo already has nearly 60 Tier 0 Diesel engines that are UL Listed and the FM Approved adds to the heritage of this product line. All Diesel engines are turbocharged and feature a complex, charged air coolers boosting horsepower and overall performance.
Ameriflo Diesel engines have features that the other Diesel engine manufactures simply do not have. The Diesel engine cradle is a unique and specifiable feature by virtually eliminating Diesel engine vibration that was historically transferred to the pump and system piping. The Diesel engine cradle also houses the emergency contractors, complete cooling loop and the Diesel engine pre-heater assembly. The Ameriflo Vibration Isolation Cradle (VIC) has integral engine mounts that completely isolate the Diesel engine vibration from being transferred to the pump base assembly and the complete accessory package. No other Diesel engine manufacturer offers this type of technology. This VIC greatly reduces oscillations found from other Diesel engine manufacturers and allows all Ameriflo pump assemblies to operate vibration free.
The Ameritouch digital engine controller has no “old school” gauges present. The end user is presented with a fully digital, full color touch screen interface that is state of the art! All Diesel engine parameters can be monitored from this digital interface making startup and run tests very easy. This is yet another example of how Ameriflo is leveraging technology to be the leader in the fire protection market.
Ameriflo had a great show in Cairo, Egypt recently showing off the world class product line that Amerifo manufactures. This trade show was called ASHRAE HVAC-R Egypt Expo and Sam Tariq (Ameriflo’s Middle East Regional Manager) attended supporting Yasser Samir and his team from Advanced Systems. Advanced Systems has done a great job penetrating the Egyptian market and with Ameriflo’s support has made a huge impact on the future of this market.
Products displayed included the most popular product line manufactured by Ameriflo, the 5030 Split Case. These products were shown in electric and Diesel engine driven orientations. Ameriflo is the only UL & FM North American fire pump manufacturer also manufacturing the largest and most complete UL & FM Diesel engine product line available in the industry. With certified pump flows from 50 GPM to an incredible 8,000 GPM and Diesel engines from 39 HP to 1207 HP. This is truly the largest and most efficient UL & FM product on the planet.
Ameriflo had a great show in Dubai last week had visitors from all over the GCC region. Activity was very strong and all were interested in visiting the new Ameriflo facility scheduled to be completed later this year. Ameriflo has the largest hydraulic offering in the industry backed by the largest, in-house, Diesel engine program on the planet.
Each tradeshow that Ameriflo attends, more and more clients understand why Ameriflo is different in the industry and why they intend on continuing to being the new leader. Ameriflo has a complete UL/FM end suction, vertical inline, split case, vertical turbine, skid and house packages as well as the largest Diesel engine program available from any pump manufacturer. Ameriflo is also one of the last manufacturers to still offer special metallurgy for sea water applications. Alloy 2205 duplex stainless steel and 2507 super duplex stainless steel are only a couple of these exotic materials that can be ordered.
The AFSA show is quickly becoming one of the best attended fire protection shows in North America. This year Ameriflo displayed a variety of 3D printed models showing the complete breadth of the product line. The few competitors that attended the show had little to no product displayed and little to no explanation on where their future place was in this industry.
